How to see your Doctor

We run a 15 minute appointment system for all our surgeries, including the peripheral locations.  Please phone 01957-702127 to arrange an appointment.mark1

If you feel you need longer, please mention this when making your appointment.  If we are busy, or you ring late in the day, you may be asked to wait until the following day.  Please let reception staff know, when booking your appointment, if you wish to see a specific doctor.

However, please explain to the reception staff if your need is urgent, and we will see you on the same day if necessary.  If you wish to speak to the doctor on the phone this can usually be arranged with the reception staff.

Please report to the Medical Reception to let staff know that you have arrived before taking a seat in the waiting room.

Saturday Surgeries - suspended during COVID pandemic.  Will update when/if these restart

These are very busy surgeries.  Due to work commitments or transport difficulties some of our patients are unable to attend on any other day.  Please consider these patients and make an appointment through the week if at all possible.

Arrangements for Fetlar:

The doctor will try to see as many people as possible in Fetlar, but priority is given to the elderly and housebound.  Fetlar patients are also welcome to make appointments at any of the Yell surgeries.  In view of the transport difficulties, we will see patients outwith the usual surgery times by prior arrangement.  For an appointment, please phone the Yell surgery.
